What are the rules?
Incorporate your scroll saw project to fit the theme we’ll announce April 1st. The only rule is that you must use a scroll saw in the project. Post to your (public) Instagram Feed telling your community that you will be participating in the “Makers Challenge Central Scroll Challenge!” Make sure you tag @makerschallengecentral and @bearwoods_supplycompany and tell us what your project plans are.
Your project must be started and completed within the time frame of the challenge to qualify.
Use the tag #scrollsawchallenge2026 and tag @makerschallengecentraland @bearwoods_supplycompany to update us on your progress in posts or stories. Feel free to COLLAB with us so our community can see what you're working on!
Complete your project(s) and post a reveal of your completed project(s) on your Instagram feed (not a story) by 11:59pm PST on April 29th, 2025, making sure you tag @makerschallengecentral and @bearwoods_supplycompany and use the hashtag #SSC2026final.
Use the SUBMISSION FORM to finalize your project! No submission, no entry into judging!
How do you get the most out of this challenge?
Participate and interact with the community! Whether this is your first challenge or your 40th, follow @makerschallengecentral for updates, reposts and collabs. This competition is about community (and cool prizes) so the more you all interact with each other the more fun this is for everyone. Make sure you’re tagging @makerschallengecentral (and even sending a collaboration request) so we can share your work!
How do I submit my project?
First, post your final project (it can be a picture, video or reel) to your Instagram feed tagging @makerschallengecentral and @bearwoods_supplycompany using the hashtag #SSC2026final no later than 11:59pm PST on April 29th, 2025. Final submissions using Instagram Stories will not be counted in judging. Then fill out the SUBMISSION FORM to complete the process. No submission form, no entry.
