What is the Handmade Holiday Challenge?

Winning prizes is great… but isn’t it time you give back?  Okay, so maybe we can compromise.  How about you give back by making a handmade gift for someone and we’ll give one lucky winner $1,000 (via PayPal) for being so generous?  That’s right, we want you to make something handmade for someone for the holiday season.  It can be made of wood, twine, metal, epoxy or even sculpted butter.  Just make sure you REGISTER with Makers Challenge Central to receive the kickoff email at the official launch for more details and maybe some promos too! 

When does the new season start?

The 2023 Handmade Holiday Challenge kicks off November 4th and runs through November 30th.  What??  Pretty much the full month???  That’s right… No excuses!  There is no limit on how many entries you can submit!

How do you enter?

All projects (yes you can submit more than one) must be started and completed between November 4th through November 30th to qualify and must be posted publicly in your Instagram feed tagging @makerschallengecentral and using the hashtag #handmadeholidaychallenge in addition to using the submission form linked on this page.  Just remember it has to be handmade!  So quilts, metal work, Jello molds all count!  Have fun. Spread cheer.
